I love this bottle. This is what most Italian wine used to be about. Now you have to venture south into Calabria. Sturdy, enjoyable wine - 100% Gaglioppo - a stewed fruit/dried fruit note, ripe fruit, maybe bramble. Spicy, full on palate, long aftertaste. All for less than $20. Points for cost/benefit ratio.
