Very interesting. Yakima Valley fruit. Big aromas of black licorice, leather and earth. Black fruit, licorice and lavender flavors. Long finish, full bodied and powerful, but there is also a finesse to this wine and it does not have the extremely chewy tannins that I was expecting. Petite Verdot is not typically vinified as a single varietal, but this is outstanding. Great effort! Revisited in December 2020. Still terrific.

Jan 2nd, 2020Not too experienced with Petit Verdot, but this is a very good wine. Deep dark color like squid ink. Black fruit on the nose. Nice fruit on the palate. I'd drink again.
