Nice ruby color. Aroma of stewed fruit, leather, mushrooms. Taste is smoky, leather, finished with the stewed fruit. Medium mouthfeel and medium tannins that isn't too much. Balanced finish. I would pair it with aged hard cheese, chicken caprece, lighter pasta dish with oil not cream, would work well with fresh tomatoes.

Lots of acidity. This will age for a while. I'd suggest laying it down. Dances on the palate. Grassy finish.
