On another cold, snowy night (again!) enjoying a wee dram of Ballantine's finest whisky.
A blend of malt and grain whisky that is aged at least 3 years.
On the nose a soft, sweet whisky with a touch of spice and candied fruit.
On the palate a bit of musty peat and sweetened vanilla. A warm and even finish.
This is an entry-level scotch and is not the best by any means but is okay.
•40% ABV• - April 18, 2018.

Caramel, toffee, honey, and a hint of orange on the nose. Beautiful mouthfeel, with taste of honey, butterscotch, caramel, and some oak. Delicate lingering finish. Nice blend!

Pretty good. I was surprised on how smooth it is when you take a sip.
