Brolio Chianti Classico Sangiovese Blend

Another night another Chianti region.
Classico. It’s heavier than I would expect.

Delivers in a big way for a #chianticlassico #chianti Starts off with simple red fruits and medium(+) acidity and a medium finish but, as it opens up, you get chocolate Touches and perfume from the merlot and Cabernet that go into the #sangiovese blend

A tangy raspberries, cherry and almond nose. Almost intoxicating. I love it. The palate is a model of balance. There is everything in there : a superb acid backbone, a radiating cherry and raspberries note, a silky, almost milky mouthfeel, lively, pointy tannins that create a monster of a finish with fruit, a tannic layer which sparkle another dimension to this wine, and a terrific, fresh aftertaste. Probably the best chianti I've had so far
