Next in the lineup was the Riserva which was a definite step up in terms of breadth and depth. The cherry tones were singing with operatic intensity. For me this was the wine of the visit, even better than their Super-Tuscans (we didn't taste the Gran Seleziones). Aged almost twice as long as the basic CC and it shows.
