My fellow Chardy lovers, listen up 🎧

I was recently sent this sample (thank you) of the the Bay of Fires 2019 Chardonnay from Tassie and it’s bloody delicious!

We actually visited Bay of Fires on our Tassie trip last year (yep back when you could travel 🥺) so this bottle brought back some lovely memories for us 💕

This is a new vintage release and has spent time in French oak.

In the glass it’s like sunshine. While on the nose it’s infused with vanilla and creamy lemon curd with a sprinkling of spiced peaches. It’s smooth and juicy in the mouth with lovely bright grapefruit acidity that intertwines with the peach and nectarine flavours. Mmmm 🤤

This wine was sent to me as a sample, I was under no obligation to post about it.

All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy!

We had a Chardonnay taste of. Chardonnay from Chablis, Margaret River, Marlborough and Tassie. The Bay of Fires was the clear favourite. Beautiful smooth wine.
