Aromas of blackberry, smoke, and spice. Black berry and black cherry on the palate. Still French in feel, but perhaps a bit more fruit driven than most. Black fruits and tar with firm tannins on the finish.

Advent calendar, day 17. I’m not going to pretend that I actually know what I’m talking about, but I’m taking a guess that this wine would be better if allowed to age further. It has a nice flavor and a lot of potential, but it feels like it could be so much better. But I’ll never know because I drank it up!
