Becklyn Cellars
Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Dark purplish ruby red. Dark nose coated with oak, blackberries and Asian five spice. Medium plus tannins (6.5/10) and full bodied. Dark palate with bright acidity and layers of savoy spices, baking spices, blackberries and a little bit blue too. Long finish. Drink till 2028.

Jan 13th, 2019Love this wine! You can argue that it’s a great value too at $65 a bottle!

This becklyn is tasting the best right now. Soft, rich fruit, chocolate. Delicious. The quivet, despite being the least fruit forward of the 4, is also hitting the spot. It’s a good wine to open when you are sharing with people that have a more classic cab taste. The myriad napa is the most tannic of the 4, but it is dark and jam packed with power. It’ll be phenomenal with some air or age. Probably the most potential. The scarlett is the reddest fruit of the 4. Like the myriad, I think it will really shine with some air/age. All great.

Tons of seamless ripe currant, not my usual style but I like it.
