Bedrock Wine Co.
North Coast Syrah
2012 vintage, one of if not the best value in domestic Syrah for under $20. Fruity, good mouth feel, just a good enjoyable Bbq wine.

Dec 5th, 2016This has really come together nicely over the years. When I tried it a couple of years ago, it was too fruity, but it's mellowed considerably and become quite aromatic.

Sep 1st, 2016Juicy dark fruit and brooding earth and herbs. Slightly smoky.

Mar 8th, 2016Tarry and showing cool aromatics with bay leaf infused bead stock additions, this is spicy and blackberry tinged. Medium(+)bodied and fresh with dry tannins and an herbaceous twist complementing its red a dark fruit profile. Seductive finish where great structure promise this amazing value to cruise another 6-8 without problem. Lovely Crozes-Hermitage interpretation.

Jan 2nd, 2016I keep wanting this to be better, but it just can't get there. There's almost an effervescence about it, which has been consistent over the last two years.

Nov 3rd, 2015Yessir. QPR king, and getting better in the cellar. Not quite the fruit sledgehammer it once was, but still full of California sunshine. What it lacks in complexity it more than makes up in pure, well balanced drinkability. Tuesday steak dinner winner.
