Big, fruit forward, some bramble quality. Bit riper than previous vintages. Still quite delicious. Virtual dinner

Not sure where Schmiedt Road is but paved with jam, dark cherries and grape love

Should I have let this set a while longer, yes. However I think it’s the best Lodi wine I’ve ever had. 100+ year own rooted Zin. Blackberry and boysenberry with refreshing acidity and a flinty mineral component. Should have given it a few years to blossom, but the wine rack is low and I just decided I needed to drink a delicious wine tonight with Trader Joe’s Indian food and s homemade cilantro chutney for the garlic naan. Great wine 👏 Bedrock Vineyards
