Man has my palate changed. This used to be the sine qua non (pun intended) but now it's all about the heat. Once the alcohol burns off on the nose, the tried and true blackberry compote flavors are there. Fun to revisit, but I'm glad I don't live there any more...

I am giving this a 6.1 because this is as low as the rating goes. Big disappointment as the 01, 03, & 04 have been enjoyable. Been a long time that I did not finish a glass. Decanted for 2 hours and had a Nose of nail polish remover
