I bought this Malbec for two reasons.
(1). I love a great Malbec and willing to try as many as it takes to find the best.
(2) My wife loves Llama’s.
I bought this bottle 3 years ago and stored it in my “cellar”. I poured the first glass through aerator.
This wine has legs, this wine smells of Blackberry, has subtle notes of spice, but not over spice. Yes there is a hint of oak at the end, but it is not over Oaked.
Having it tonight with Steak, it should be even better.

Had 2017 on January 1,2020. Not a bad 100% Malbec. Light fruits and light tannins. Oak was not super noticeable. Was okay.

I enjoyed this Malbec with a meatloaf dinner, but it wasn’t to Pat’s liking. ($13)

Solid weekday bottle. Surprisingly balanced tannins. Could use a little more punch, but overall enjoyable.
