Had the 2020 in April of 2024. Made some albondigas and patatas bravas. Paired well with the hints of smoke from the paprika. Hints of fruit and tannins but nothing was in your face. Tasted great with the chorizo and manchego too, but as a sipper alone, wasn’t anything special. — 15 days ago
Had the 2022 in April of 2024. Paired with an Austrian beef stew and potato dumplings. Didn’t really enjoy at first but it paired well with the meal. Lighter body with some cherry overtones. Well balanced tannins. Nothing overpowering in this wine. — 2 days ago
This was the Rioja Alavesa from Aspaldi. Super tannic with a musty bouquet. Aeration didn’t help the mustiness but helped smooth out the astringency that this wine had way too much of. Some tart blackberry and a hint of cedar/leather. Not a very good wine at all. Would never buy again. — 13 days ago
Loved this one. Great for a rainy cold day. Paired with mujadara and Jerusalem mix chicken. Big wine with blackberry, dark cherry and blueberry. Oaky tannins keep it from being too sweet. Would buy this again in a heartbeat!! — 17 days ago
Had the 2020 in April of 2024. Enjoyed this one. Big dark fruits- blackberry and plum. Fuller body with light tannins. Not a long finish. Was tasty and would buy again. This is a solid table wine. — 2 days ago
Not a typical Pinot Grigio. Some definite peach and melon. Slightly sweet on the palate due to the fruits. Really enjoyed this one but was definitely not a typical Pinot Grigio like I usually drink. Would buy again for summer sipping in the deck. — 14 days ago
Had the 2021 in April of 2024. Not a bad little cab for the price point. Slightly sweet overtones with some tannin backbone. Cherry and blackberry with hint of tannins. Medium bodied. Nice for the price point. — 17 days ago

Had the 2021 in April of 2024. Aldi wine for $11.99 so decided to try it. Nothing special. Hints of oak with some black cherry. Minimal finish. Definitely tasted better as it opened up but I probably wouldn’t buy this one again. — 19 hours ago
