Aromas of apples, a little citrus peel, and some floral peach. Taste is a good balance of acidity and sweetness with more apples and citrus on the tongue. I liked it, wife thought it was just ok. Would drink again. — 25 days ago
Wine starts off big but opens up pretty well. A really nice deep purple color, you get big cherry and fig aromas with a hint of barrel too warm you about what's coming. Flavor is barrel forward with an assertive tannin and woody notes followed by a hint of dark fruit that's scraped dry by the tannins. Drinks easier than I thought for 15%. Paired well with food. Would buy this again I think to share with wine friends. — 7 days ago
