Light bodied. Tastes a little green and thin on its own. Great fruity and light complement to food.

I needed to see what the fuss is about. This wine has alot of the main Barolo elements, though not in harmony. It has a light mouthfeel with zippy tannins. Very bright cherry and faint violet flavors. I'm taking off 2 points for an astringent quality that is displeasing. Maybe it will improve overnight.
Listening to Nirvana.

Pale red, with the browning of age and oxidation. Aroma: leather, tobacco smoke, leather, charred root vegetable, leather, dried currant, leather, and dried leaves. Also leather. Flavor, is tannins. Up front, nothing else straight to leather. A brief pause to experience fruit, but too fast to experience, and then a potent acidity. Quite sharp but wets the pallete after all the dry tannic leather flavors. Overall, weirdly missing body for barolo but other than that surprisingly good. Like at the cheapest barolo at like $40, this would be disappointing. But if you are like $20 bucks with a $20 steak? Absolute kilker deal,
