Quite light garnet , wide terracotta rim . Quite a lot of smoky sous bois, with some light red fruits, sweet dry spices , touch of hickory . On the palate this is pretty evolved and has started to dry out slightly , with some some sweet red currant , dried spices, salty acidity and resolved tannin . Ok , slate tinged finish . Garnet medium intensity. Herbs, spearmint, fossils on the nose. Dry, medium plus alc, medium plus acidity, medium bodied. Sour cherry, herbs, on the palate. Tannins are chalky and drying. Long nice finish. This will of course greatly improve. But certainly drinkable now.

Highly structured, with broad shoulders, on the palate. It’s delicious now, even as a baby, with runway to age, soften, & gain additional dimension. 😍 — a month ago

This is again quite fresh on the palate , some cherry and cedar , cut herbs , anise . Pretty grippy tannins . Reasonable length with good strawberry , raspberry , liquorice tinged finish . Needs a little more time , better in a couple of years and will last well a further 5-10. — a month ago

Been waiting a long time to open this baby. When first obtained it was completely closed and almost undrinkable. Aromas have fully opened, like sweet flowers and a hint of caramel. Tannins are waaay softer, durable but give nice structure to the wine. Blackberry, oak, medjool dates. — 8 days ago
