Dried red fruits, baking spices, cedar, Price Albert tobacco, coco nibs, stewed tomato and leather. Maintains good acidity with softened tannins. A bit past its prime but still drinking well.
Perfect wine for watching the Las Vegas Grand Prix! — 4 months ago
They don’t make ‘em like they use to. This wine is magic. Had this vintage a decade ago and it was spectacular then, still spectacular now pushing 30. — 14 days ago
Drinking great at 9 years old. Still has bright red fruit flavors with a moderate amount of complexity. — a month ago
Fantastic out of a magnum, normally don’t like Zin but this is a special wine. Both dark and red fruits, medium tannins, very expressive. Not jammy at all. Delicious for thanksgiving. — 4 months ago

Very tart, under ripe fruit. Feels like a natural fermentation, probably not really meant to be aged. Initial rating 84.
Update 1 hour later: wine has opened up and is drinking much better. Updated rating 86. — 10 hours ago
