Drinking great at 9 years old. Still has bright red fruit flavors with a moderate amount of complexity. — 2 months ago
This is a big wine! Dark red and blue fruits along with some secondary and tertiary flavors of wet leaves, tobacco, turned dirt and warn leather. The wine has a long finish with heavy gripping oak tannins. Really tastes like Napa Valley! Delicious, interesting and intense. — 8 days ago
They don’t make ‘em like they use to. This wine is magic. Had this vintage a decade ago and it was spectacular then, still spectacular now pushing 30. — a month ago
Cherries, strawberries and raspberries with medium acidity and a short finish. Very straightforward and easy to drink. — 13 days ago
Very tart, under ripe fruit. Feels like a natural fermentation, probably not really meant to be aged. Initial rating 84.
Update 1 hour later: wine has opened up and is drinking much better. Updated rating 86. — a month ago
