Big Nose Full Body Wine Sales in Brooklyn. “May I finish that Riesling?”
Really pretty with time in the glass. This took on weight and became more expansive with air. Nice funk. Very pretty. Just entering its window. — 2 days ago
Found this after reading @Scott@Mister A’s-San Diego glowing review and I have to say the praise is justified. While this is sure to leave the restrained Burgundy purist wanting in terms in nuance and delicacy there is absolutely no doubt that this is a tremendous amount of wine for an absurdly affordable price. One could easily pay twice as much to get all the stuffing packed into this bruiser.
Deep, savory, and spicy, but not without acid. Bay laurel, cherry pipe tobacco, cherry cola, anise, clove, and cardamom with dark earthy mulberry and bramble underneath. Oak is the price of admission. Would be curious to see what’s under the hood without 17 months in 80% new barrel. Not at all what I typically reach for, but I get it. Seek sirloin and sidestep salmon with this one. Possible rebrand with this label?

Love. Nice polish but also layered with earth and mint. Looking forward to checking back in tomorrow. — 2 days ago
Too young for early consumption. Deep Gamay with mouth coating notes of good and plenty candy. Licorice pastille. Blind tasters were in Grenache world and I don’t blame them. Delicious, but too early. — 2 days ago
Gorgeous light ruby in the glass with glints of purple and blue. Cranberry, strawberry, grapefruit and orange peel, and rhubarb, with the faintest hint of walnut on the finish. I adore this winery. A whopping 50 cases of this wine were produced. 11.5% abv. — 20 days ago
Supercharged electric. Tangy and bright with salty sorbet and a mine of marine minerality. Mostly Falanghina and Greco. I can move Albariño and Sancerre with ease but haven’t been able to get people to bite on this one despite my best efforts and its clear pedigree. — 2 days ago
Pure fruited and spicy from whole cluster fermentation. Light in color but with fresh acidity and a medium bodied frame of crunchy, earthy, forest fruit. From the Franschhoek Valley in Paarl, where vine plantings are as scarce as Hoendertande “chicken’s teeth.” Good for the turkey table. Sustainably farmed. — 3 days ago
Full and oily. 70% Viura and 30% Garnacha Blanca clocking in at 14% abv. while still having great acidity. Very unique and a good contender for the Thanksgiving table. — 20 days ago
Dark in the glass and not playing around. A shocking amount of structure here. Elevated tannin and acid working in tandem with brooding, peppery fruit and a streak of citrus lurking beneath. Pair with lamb chops or a dry aged ribeye. Showed best after a few hours open. — 24 days ago

Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay come together to form Chenin? Medium bodied with nice texture. Banana cream pie. Soft tropics. — 2 days ago
