Zingy lemon acidity and minerality. This is aging at a glacial pace which is quite annoying...could be this years wine. Come back in 5-10 years. — 21 days ago
Probably my favourite Bordeaux vintage but i found this a bit lacking. Still offers a fairly good QPR. Wouldnt buy it again but would drink it again 😂 — 25 days ago
Impressive showing here with blackcurrants and leather. The finish persists for minutes and leaves you wanting more. Very classy — 6 days ago
Pleasantly surprised how much we enjoyed this. Great QPR with tropical fruit and balanced acidity. Want to try more in their range now... — 20 days ago
Massive monster of a wine that will obviously polarise. The type of wine that you drink while being fed grapes and fanned with a giant palm leaf. Opulent and luxurious with blackberry, brambles and tar. Its going to be too much for a lot of people but if you like your wines full of flavour then this is for you! — 25 days ago
Lychee, white flowers and subtle woody notes. Elegant acidity. Very good wine and went excellently with miso tofu kebaps — a month ago
Minerally with some tropical fruit. Would buy again and was very enjoyable — 10 days ago
Love Knipser as a producer and they are in a group of german wine makers that simply dont make bad wines. Buttery and slighty oaky with persisting acidity...all round a very enjoyable Chardonnay — 13 days ago
Serious wine this. Oaky with dark fruits and tobacco. Already balanced despite its youth. Definately not one of the lighter Brunellos. I loved this but drinkers seeking lithe, acidic elegance will be disappointed. — 25 days ago
Andrew McIntyre
Strong nose of hazelnuts and cloves. Has almost a medicinal quality. This split the group with many finding the 15% alcohol too much.
Served with flammed salmon and asparagus risotto. — 6 days ago
