WSET L3
Will do complete notes on next bottle. I always love Poesia, but this one is a bit disintegrated, some bitterness. The parts are all present, however.

Hi Everyone. FYI I am now a resident of Miami! Please reach out if you are ever in town!
@Ron R maybe we meet in the. #305?
This wine is somewhat unapproachable. Not much fruit even on the front. There are a few attractive notes (dark chocolate) but it's chopped off, no secondary, no tertiary.

Really nice. Well balanced; medium all around--except for the alcohol which runs hot. Beets and other vegetal notes provide an interesting nose.

Beautiful bouquet of flowers-- which are not my specialty aromas-- I'll go with violets and dried roses. Herbal and floral notes carry over to the palate with a hint of red fruit. Very nicely integrated-- round medium everything, medium plus alcohol. Mature soft tannins.

I found this at a supermarket in Miami. Not a cheap wine-- $40+ -- but it must be new (I am on a sabbatical from using AI for 24 hours-- wish me luck!)
This is near opaque plum colored with a medium intensity. Body is medium slightly on the lighter side for a Napa. Acidity is medium. It is dry. Alcohol is medium to medium plus tannins are medium minus not much drying on the gums.
The nose and palate present mainly blueberry with some herbs. Zero wood (welcome for me).
What I like about this one is that it's approachable and enjoyable now. It's not like your typical Cabernet from California that's overoaked and positioned to age for a long time. This is drinkable now and is very enjoyable. There's no residual sugars. It cuts well with a ribeye and I would highly recommend it.

Tart. On the nose and palate I get muted red fruits. Medium plus tannins, medium plus alcohol and medium acidity. This is a solid Rosso not Brunello.

Opaque, deep dark ruby. Blackberry on the nose and palate. Some beets and dried cranberries assemble when held in the mouth. I suspect this would cut a prime rib nicely, but I'm pairing cheese only. Medium weight (need the plus here), medium+ alcohol, medium+ acidity --- way too early for this one. Tannins are tight.

Hi everyone! This is lovely (rare descriptor for me). Medium red brick color, medium plus body, medium plus alcohol but subtle. Nice acidity, and tannins make this absolutely drinkable right now-- 8/26/25 my 58th birthday, forgot to give everyone my new Miami address for bottled gifts 😜 . Certainly floral notes on both the nose and palate, but not rose, some cedar overtones, with an enjoyable minerality. It's lovely because it all comes together like a beautiful gift basket (pun not intended) that would impress a royal lady, but stand up proud for a gentleman. It will improve, but you don't have to let it!

Better than advertised.

Blueberry with violets on nose and palate. Well balanced. A bit too drying on the finish.
