One of the best around at this time. Had a bottle before it was released. Look for this to be way better than the 2009 or 2013. Michael has outdone herself this time!

The oak on the palate is sweet and tasty with generous red fruit and holiday spices. The tannins grip enough, but not too hard. The finish carries some rosemary to a lengthy end. Roasted chicken and potatoes, with the potatoes burnt just a bit is what you want with this.

Apr 18th, 2016Pleasant Coravin stab. Wet tar, burnt tart plums and a whiff of spearmint. Nice oak on the nose and palate. Smooth. Nice surprise on a Sunday night.
