Generic jammy California red. Could be cab, could be Merlot, could be Zinfandel. When it gets this ripe you sort of lose varietal character. Smells like Smucker's strawberry jelly. Vanilla and baking spices. Very easy to drink, and I'd recommend it with dark chocolate.
