Found this little gem on a wine list in Charlottesville, VA. Paired it with some luscious braised lamb. All good. This is a soft, delicate wine. Lovely.

Needs about another year and a half but, even now, it's showing well. The nose is delightful - a clear indication of quality. Tastes of cherry and baking spices. Reminds me a bit of a well-aged Barbaresco actually. Hold to burn off some of the alcohol. That's the only thing holding this wine back.
