Deep reddish purple. Shy nose of blueberry and plum. Medium body and medium acidity wrap up a surprisingly fruit-forward Toscana. Very short finish. A nice enough wine at ten bucks, but Bellini and others have much better offerings at this price point while the “value-priced” competition has stepped up its game (see BelVino). Enjoy with delivery pizza.

Upon first taste, it was very tannic, acidic with dark fruits. The finish was very odd. In my opinion, the finish tasted like blood; highly mineral-y, and iron-like. After letting it breathe for 30 minutes, the metallic finish started to smooth out. I let it breathe for 24 hours and the wine was 100% better. Tasted like a totally different wine. I'd recommend letting it breathe in a decanter.

Falls a little flat on its own. Fresh and fruit forward in terms of bright-red fruit notes with some spice thrown in the mix. Nothing substantially interesting to note about the blend.
