The view made up for the terrible flutes. The wine needed no help either way. Theres a lovely balance between the bright red fruit and the vinous oxidative notes, without becoming too big or too reliant on toasty autolytic notes. The setting helped, but it's hard not to just enjoy this bottle on a purely hedonistic level. Cheers!

Really excellent - now one of my favorite rose champagnes. Yeasty nose, very fine bubbles and texture. Hits palate in the right places. Not overly full or acidic, but balanced with a ton going on and a long finish.
