Beringer Vineyards
St. Helena Home Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon

Ruby in color with a medium water ring. On the nose this has a slight hint of a raspberry creme tart, mineral rock and wet earth. On the palate the red fruit shows for a moment then slowly gets washed away with a dusty road taste. The smooth finish shows wonderfully and reminds me of the reasons why it's worth the patience of holding a couple of age worthy cabs back did the long haul in he cellar. The finish holds well for about 20-25 seconds before falling off.
