05' Bernard Magrez Cabernet. 78% CB 16% CF 6 % PV. This wine was sourced from Thorevilos vineyard (Abreu). Aaron Pott was the winemaker.
A 2005- 30 minute decanting & it's blossoming . Black raspberries, coffee, sweet chocolate, oak. The tannins and acidity are subtle, yet present throughout the palate. Edit- The finish lingers for 45 seconds. WOW...the somm loving this wine. It's always a good sign when he comes back for a little more 😉
The Cab is bold & seamless . I don't see a problem at all setting this down for many years. WHY?

Deep, dark, but surprisingly mellow. Coffee beans, cocoa, with hints of tobacco. Amazing wine.
