Nov 6th, 202010' Bevan EE cuvée Red. 65% CB 30% CF 5% PV. Dark. Heavy sediment. I tried this wine a few years back and knew it needed some time. Dumped this wine in the decanter for about 60 minutes... it's ready to go. The tannins were a little heavy for me initially. After this was decanted, the fruit really shined. Striking dark brick red/purple in color. The edges have that ruby red tint to it. Classic black fruits to it. Tobacco, rustic coffee, licorice. NEW oak. Long & lingering finish. People who love red- blends… Crowd pleaser!
Edit- Don't know if I would sit this wine down for more than 5 years. Getting much better??? Drinking now- ?
