Opaque violet color with appealing roasted meat, roasted black fruit, smoke and a hint of truffle aromas. On the palate it's medium bodied with very good acidity and soft well integrated tannins and a hint of minerality with concentrated roast boysenberry, plum, blueberry and hickory
flavors. Long finish.

Big bold Syrah. I'm getting chocolate and licorice - a little over extracted for me. Liking the fruit not liking the finish.

Nice nose of blackberries & graphite, still quite primary in its flavor profile, opened up nicely to show creosote, fig & spice notes. Needs a bit more bottle time to be truly special.
