Had from a box at the parents house. Surprisingly good! I think I taste merlot, some cab, and carmenere: black cherry chocolate, hint of cedary bite, and that spicy perfume I associate with carmenere. A bit watery, but totally pleasant. Juicy, and velvety enough finish to go quite well with steaks.

A rather thin wine for how sweet it was, something seemed out of balance to me. Nonetheless a great value, your basic potluck wine.

Soft, fruity and dry. Tasted from 250ml can. Yes, that's right, a can. $4.
