5 years ago this was absolutely undrinkable. A hot, disjointed, tannic mess...but it’s in a good window now....but likely on the back side of optimum. Not sure it ever had an optimum to be honest. It went from messiness to what it is now which is very nice. Very Bordeaux in character, reductive, rich earth and bruised plum, grainy tannins still jabbing a bit. A good study wine but more interesting than exciting. Drink up.

Biggest disappointment of the night. Not terrible, but it was off somehow.
