This is an ale made with merlot grapes. It's bubbly, fruity and somewhat light with a slightly bitter aftertaste just like you normally taste in an ale. It goes well and holds its own with chimay Belgium beer cheese which also delivers that slightly bitter aftertaste. Delicious and fun for a change of pace!
