Second wine on our first night on the Harmony of the Seas. Deep and dark purplish red. A bit off on the nose, almost corked but will give it a benefit of the doubt and ignore the nose. With some time it got some cinnamon and dark berries. Medium tannins (6.5/10) and medium plus bodied. Dark palate with some dark black and red berries, sweet spices, gravel and a little dried herbs. Long finish. Drink till 2026.

Apr 28th, 2018Wow. I shouldn't be surprised that a wine made by Grant Long Jr is phenomenal, just like his Aonair Wines portfolio, but holy smokes this is so delicious. Beautiful royal purple color in the glass and it smells of boysenberry, licorice and blueberries. Lovely bit of vanilla, light oak and cassis on the tongue. For $55, not many out there can top this for the price. @Greg Ballington, you and I are in agreement about this wine...so good!
