The Boatman Red Blend

Spicy, dusty, juicy. Decent complexity for the price but there is a touch to be desired on the nose and finish.

Can't figure out why I bought this other than maybe it has some Alicante in it. More than summer VA, but I drank it all up so it must not be that bad

A little fruity, but enjoyable

Zin, alacante buche. Petite Syrah, Malbec, probably a handful of others. For its price point it's great for a full bodied red.

Deep, dark fruit with a hint of juicy sweetness -- I compared it to a dark chocolate-covered orange wedge. One day later and a whole bunch of smoky spice came to the foreground.

I mean it's a wine built from the Alicante Bouschet grape so your guess is as good as mine...

A lot of fruit but not super sweet (tart instead). Would probably be good with a meal but just ok on its own.

Not as sweet as I normally like, but tasty. A little tart.

Very easy to drink. Low acid, dark fruits.

Its a nice, light everyday wine. I taste red fruits and light tannins. Could drink alone or with food.

Simple and drinkable.
