Very easy to drink. Low acid, dark fruits. — 9 years ago
Balanced and silky, fruit and modest tannin, not as heavy as many Zins. 2020 vintage tasted at the winery. — 9 months ago
More fruit and fuller than the Boatman; liked the fruit and fullness — 2 years ago
Wine #2 of Ridge night and more with dessert. More bramble and density than the Boatman. Less fruit and the fruit was darker and more black than blue. Also enjoyable — 10 months ago
Spicy, plummy red fruit. Sharp, angular. Slate, concrete, pronounced pepper. Both vegetable pepper and spicy pepper. Forest floor with new oak dominance in the finish. Surprisingly lacking in aromatics. — 6 years ago

Delicious. And drinking beautifully right now. Nose shows characteristic Zin spicy blackberry fruit, along with a pronounced saline minerality that carries over to the palate. Palate is bone dry, but the fruit is perfectly ripe and nicely concentrated, and it’s beautifully balanced, with nice acids and very soft tannin for some tactile structure. It will certainly last for several years, but it’s really pleasurable right now. — 8 months ago
