Began with a strong metallic taste
After some air time - mellowed into the expected wine. Good acidity. Nice lemon citrus flavor.
Has a roundness to it that speaks to the vineyard as if it had some oak but I don’t think it did.
Btw - Sigalas is only Santorini wine I drink. Visited them on my honeymoon. Fantastic place just a short walk down the hill from Oia.

Very light. Excellent aromas on the nose
Good tannins yet fruit felt restrained and seemed like a more floral — 15 days ago

Opened and decanted for 1 hour before tasting. Clean long cork that was soaked to the edge through.
Aromas of wild forest floor. As it opened, fruit began to emerge
This wine tasted delicious. I don’t even remember specific flavors. It was just very good and easy to drink while also having depth and structure to hold up to black pepper chicken thighs.
Hope my other bottles of this wine shine the same — a month ago
Delightful. Immediate lime zest smack in the face.
Natural sweetness that comes though it’s not oaky or residual sugar. Just a roundness to the wine that helps balance the lime.
This wine is good with Mexican and some spice. — a month ago
Upon opening, this bottle smelled amazing. Ripe wild blueberry and pie like aromas.
First sip and the fruit is present, not quite as jammy as the smell and you get a lot more structure and depth. Some forest bramble and chewiness.
Overall - a steal from auction. Love that people under value the 2011’s — a month ago
This wine needs a little bit of airtime to develop. Deep golden hue. The age gives it a bit of hotness that needs to blow off
My favorite part of this wine is the butterscotch richness. Unique and divine. — a month ago
