Just concluded our annual Fall seclusion at our cabin in the Rangeley lakes region of Maine, mobile service up there is mostly non-existent, after several days I am posting again. Notes are somewhat brief, as my focus is relaxing and watching the Common Loons swimming and diving in the cove in front of our camp.
Nose has ripe black cherry, roasted red pepper, dried grape vine and over-ripe plum.
Palate has prune, ripe red raspberry, tannic black cherry, dry earth, black tea and grippy tannins. Likely this could hold another 4-6 years.
Last bottle of a mixed vineyard 6-pack of 2002 wines, offered in OWC alongside, Altamira Lote 1 & Adrianna Lote 3, two bottles each.
