Bodega Chacra
Barda Patagonia Pinot Noir

Dark clear color; rustic restrained nose of lingonberries, strawberries, earth, light spices, and minerals; equally restrained on the palate with a quite balanced tangible structure despite low alcohol levels. Non-french cold climate in an elegant style!

Borders into darker berries and drier leaf/dirt flavors (versus the usual PN red berries and wet forest). Really interesting and delicious!

Grapey and thin for me. Others liked it more. Hint of clove?

Dec 25th, 2019Minerals, good concentration. Plum and dried raspberry/cranberry on the mouth. Subtle, persistent tannins and sandalwood finish. Exceptional.
