One of my favority Ribera del Duero Crianzas, this is a fabulous effort for 2013, showing freshness, powdery tannins, dark berries, leather, earth and oak spice. The 14.5%ABV is well integrated, there is enough substance for medium term ageing.

Bold dark dry berries and prominent oak. 14.5 % alc. The first sip was restricted but it opens up quickly.

Too much oak overwhelms the fruit. Got some dried herbs, tobacco & leather but found the oak got on the way.

Big juicy black fruits. Cooked black plums some chocolate notes. Old leather. Not subtle.
