Dark ruby/purple color. Aromas of red and black berries, violets, tobacco and smoky herbs. Flavors of blackberry, cooked plums, black olives, dark chocolate and eucalyptus. Hints of minerals, light oak and saline on the medium length and slightly bitter finish. Chewy tannins and reasonably well balanced. A bit lighter in body than a typical Tannat-based wine.
