Stunning, earth, balsamic, stones, tannins so smooth and refined, acid perfect.....just amazing.... paired with nice steak...

Absolutely delicious. Could easily last another 15-20 years the fruit was so vibrant and youthful. Cedar and crunchy red fruits in their youth, this was developing tobacco, earth, and hints of darker plum and leather flavors at this age. Very complex and regretfully poundable.

1964- tastes like it could go another 15. Orange rind, dry ripe cherry, baked grapefruit. Stunningly integrated.

Initially harsh tannins and mono dimensional and with air improves and becomes more accessible. 87

Surprisingly a survivor. Todd picked this up for my birthday. Birth year 64. Assumed it would be crap. Solid. A little tired, but very drinkable.

Oloroso color. Woodsy compote- still sweet, but going volatile and not finishing with the strength of the rest.
