A little flat, but good earthiness and tannins shine through.

2006 vintage - dusty, smoky, earthy nose. On the palate, boysenberry and red raspberry compote with some licorice and tobacco notes. Nice!

Tobacco, espresso, mocha, and pine with underlying cherries on the nose. Bright cherries and tart cranberry on the initial attack, very fresh with firm acidity. Mild tannins on a respectable finish. Great QPR Rioja.
