This wine won't excite you, but you won't mind drinking it. Olderish style Rioja with all of its edges rounded off. Likely due to whatever grapes were blended in. This was meant for American consumption.

Nicely dry, slight hint of sugar, blueberries on the nose and a clean finish. Will buy again.

Expected Tempranillo flavours on the palate, cherry, tobacco, some spice. Still a little bite from the tannins but should open up with some decanter time.
