The 2009 very much enjoyed with a lovely dinner of grilled mushrooms and Turbo in Seville. Nice structure, vanilla oaky flavors nicely integrated, needed to breath a bit before drinking, I imagine lots of further aging potential here.

Red fruit, strawberries and wet leaves, some dark notes, medium bodied, tense tannins and an extremely high acidity (2013 was a rainy one in Rioja). Noticeable oak. Drunk too young maybe

Aged 7 years so I would say time to drink, was the 2014. Still some taste of red fruit and oak tannins through out. Strange that it is sold in a burgundy type bottle. But, overall a very approachable Rioja. I prefer a bit more bite from the tannins in my Riojas.
