
2005. Guessed Napa cab or Chilean. Heavy toasted oak but not overshadowing the fruits at all. Soothing, covering n mild palate, firm tannin, low acid then usual Tempranillo. Kept developing thru 4 hours. Buy.

Reinforcing the assessment of 2005 as stellar. Herbaceous and fresh, tons of secondary progression already showing, but with a lot of potential.

A tiny bit of concerning vinegar right after opening, but it burns off almost immediately and opens to be a nicely aged  Ribera
