A nice compromise between normal Bordeaux style blends and the big California reds were used to. It’s not bland like a lot of Bordeaux style blends, but not as spicy as the Californians. Definitely a like!

Feb 16th, 2021Dark, black plum color. Smells of cooked figs, tar and horse tack. Maybe hint of nibs of cacao. Flavor is rich, full and hella thick. Bite of fresh herbs. Sage and tarragon. Also pipe tobacco. Plenty, plenty plum pudding as well. It’s not epic, but it’s a nice beastly, beauty.

Dec 12th, 2019Smells of graphite, damp stone.
Leather strips curing side by side with wet Virginian tobacco. Crushed mulberry seeds, a whisper of shiso, and layers of cedar cigar box.
Heavy bodied wine, with strong tannin and acid after linger..
