A dusty, dried cherry nose along with some menthol and alcohol vapors on the nose, and a tiny bit of funkiness, even after 24 hours. The wine is off-dry, boasting stemmy cherry fruit, some brambly blackberry, and hints of tobacco. Not overoaked like many Tempranillos from this region. Streamlined and easy drinking.
