Prunes, and spice on the nose with a little alcohol sting (makes sense it's 15% ABV). First sip hits you in the face with tart acidity, but the flavors are wonderful, bold fruit forward with a very nice complexity and tannins. Each sip is different, licorice sweetness, dark fruits with a prune like gameyness, but can't get over how tart it was! Not necessarily bad, it was quite refreshing in the summer heat, but a bit distracting. Still really enjoyed it for the price.

Medium to full body. Dark and red fruits aromas. Pleasent and uncomplicated. Modern, ripe and heady, but finds balance. Excellent tonight with a coq-au-vin (alone at home: wife, children and dogs on vacations at our beach apartament).

Something green gives way to fleshy round dark fruits. For a huge crowd of friends this pleased many and proved a solid qpr. My father bought a mixed case of wines via Wall Street Journal somehow? They’ve mostly been in this range of quality.
