Nice every day wine. Liked it super chilled.

Jan 26th, 2016Best I can say about this is that it actually started off as drinkable. Half an hour of air did it no favors at all.

Jun 2nd, 2015I tried this 2013 Bogle Chardonnay from California at the recently opened Decanter Bar in Vic Park (read my thoughts on the new venue here: http://travellingcorkscrew.com.au/decanter-bar-vic-park-perth/). $44 per bottle or $12 by the glass
On the eye it has a lovely yellow shimmer. Aromas of apples, pears and baking spice emerge from the glass. The palate is surprisingly fresh and vibrant compared to the nose with an abundance of or orchard fruits and vanilla. One of my workmates said it was a lot like alcoholic orange juice - I have to agree! I'd definitely order it again as it seemed to go well with the array of tapas we had for lunch.
As always, all opinions are based on my own taste buds. #TCWeekdayWine
